| The future of cell phones is almost upon us, and if you are a verizon wireless customer, you are in luck. The Blackberry Storm is the latest and greatest from Canadian Technology company Research in Motion (RIM) and it will be available exclusively for Verizon wireless customers. While the release of this phone is not yet available, there are more and more specs popping up daily to wet our appetites. What we do know is that the Blackberry Storm will have a 3.2 mega pixel camera, 1gb of internal memory with a MicroSd slot capable of expanding the smartphone to 8gb of memory, and it will also have an enhanced GPS program capable of offering turn by turn directions. But the most talked about feature of this phone is definitely the fact that it will be fully touch screen. In portrait mode, using the touch screen will be as easy as pointing and clicking or dragging items. In landscape mode, customers will have a full touch screen qwerty keyboard at their fingertips. While it is unknown just how well the qwerty keyboard function will work as a touch screen, what is known is the fact that Verizon Wireless customers are anxiously awaiting the release of the latest and greatest from RIM. |
